2nd generation: 1930 - 1938.
Also during this period the two machines "A" and "B" were in operation.
The "A" and "B" cancellations were alternately used 1930 - 1935. From approx. January 1936 the machines were used simultaneously. See further in the special listening.
This is not officially confirmed but collected data from a lot of collectors shows upon this. Here is more to be researched on and my hope is to get information from everyone who has dates outside those in my listings.
The months in the circular date stamps are now in Arabic ciphers and the segments have always 9 bars.
The inscriptions are in the new Latvian orthography.
From the end 1935 / beginning 1936 "RIGA" is changed to "RĪGA" indicating the long vowel.
The machines were used on outgoing mail only.

Besides that the date stamp and insert text isn't repeated as in an origin roller several other mistakes are to be found in this cancellation:
As well as in the date stamp as in the insert is the numeral "3" different, the origin has a straight top but the fake one is rounded.
The "4" is by the origin open at top in the date stamp as well as in the insert but the fake one has a closed top.
The upper line in the date bridge has a gap on both sides by the origin but these gaps doesn't exist by the fake one.
The "G" in "GAIDA" in the insert is by the origin rounded at bottom but by the fake one there is a vertical line to the right,
also the "D" is different, it is wider by the fake one.
The three stars in the date stamp are turned a little sideways by the orign but exactely straight by the fake cancellation

If there is somebody who have an item with this fake cancellation I would be glad for a scan of it to improve the quality in the picture.
